Discover effective concepts and strategies in creating productive classroom learning environments. Assignments are designed to help elementary and secondary teachers utilize the strategies presented in their own classroom settings. Topics include: establishing classroom rules and expectations, classroom organization and operation, supporting appropriate student behavior, understanding, dealing with misbehavior, promoting student independence and self reliance.

NOTE: Required textbook must be purchased separately.

This course is applicable towards the Restorative Strategies for the Classroom Certificate.
